Managing partners
Tânia has a law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, where she also completed a Specialization and obtained a Master's degree in Civil Procedural Law. She obtained a Master of Laws degree in American Law from Washington University in St. Louis.
Attended the JPO/IPR Training Course for IP Protection Lawyers promoted by the Japan Patent Office.
Currently, she is President of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo, Director of Institutional Relations of the São Paulo Intellectual Property Association - ASPI, besides being the Vice-Chair of the Unfair Competition Committee of the International Trademark Association - INTA.
With over 25 years of experience in intellectual property, she is the author of articles and relevant works in the area of Law, and is qualified to practice law in Brazil and in California/USA.
Recommended for her practice in Patent Litigation by Leaders League in 2018 and 2019, as well as in Trademark Litigation since 2022. She has been nominated as one of the most admired female lawyers in Intellectual Property, in various sectors and in São Paulo by Anuário Advocacia 500 since in 2020. She has been also elected one of the most admired female lawyers by Análise Advocacia Mulher since 2021, in this same area and different sectors. Recognized as a High-performing committee member by INTA in 2023 and 2024.
Katia holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Law, a Master’s in the Social Function of Private Law Institutes, and postgraduate degrees in Cosmetic Chemistry and Competitive Intelligence. She is also a Specialist in Patent Searches and a Registered Industrial Property Agent.
With over 25 years of experience in Intellectual Property, she works as witness and Court’s expert in litigations involving patents in the fields of engineering, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.
She is currently the Co-coordinator of the Biodiversity and Innovation Access Committee of the São Paulo Association of Intellectual Property (ASPI) and a member of the Trade Secrets Committee of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
She also serves as a guest lecturer for specialization, undergraduate, and graduate courses, as well as in-house training programs for national and multinational companies, startups, and research institutions.
She has been recognized by IAM’s The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners, by Leaders League, elected by Lexology’s Client Choice, and included in the World IP Day Gallery.
Alexandre has degrees in Mechatronic Engineering and Law. He is also an Industrial Property Agent, with more than 25 years of experience in intellectual property.
He attended the JPO/IPR Training Course for Practitioners Specializing in Patents promoted by the Japan Patent Office.
He is a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association - São Paulo Section - OAB/SP.
He works in the area of intellectual property as an expert and technical assistant in actions involving patents in the areas of mechanics, mechatronics and telecommunications.
Awarded by The World's Leading Patent Practitioners, by IAM - Intellectual Asset Management in the area of patents since 2014.
